Our San Francisco centered District consists of five SCORE chapters, which each have a website: Silicon Valley, largest chapter in our district serves contains a wealth of good information. San Francisco chapter's website, serving from Marin to San Mateo, also has many links and resources. East Bay chapter, which covers Oakland, the entire East Bay, all the way to Vallejo also has a website rich in resources Santa Cruz, our newest chapter, serves Capitola and vicinity, an area south of Silicon Valley. North Coast, our chapter, serves from Sonoma and Napa all the way to the Northern border of California.
National SCOREoffice website is an extensive website, and you could look at that. Women in business now have special access to SCORE information, namely the New Women's Site and Women's Blog. Valuable TEMPLATES for business plans, cash flows, balance sheets and other are here, ready to use in Excel, pdf or printing out.
U.S. Small Business Administration, the SBA, like the SCORE site, also contains a broad range of useful data.
Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Humboldt and Lake County websites have good stuff on demographics and else.
Internal Revenue Servicecontains a wealth of information to help you determine what needs to be done, and many ideas, forms and Publications. The IRS Small Business site will also prepare you for this important business task of minimizing the taxes you owe.
